QULIFICATION : -The Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and II. Medical Practitioners in Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council, in the first or second Schedule or Part-2, And the designated candidates should be registered in West Bengal Medical Council within six months of their name being included in the West Bengal Health Service.


AGE: -  January 2018 for not more than 36 years as general medical graduates, and 40 years for those who have postgraduate qualifications, otherwise eligible for qualified and experienced candidates for two years, eligible: provided that Age relaxation may be considered by doctors who have served in this state under a maximum of 5 years of government equivalent to the period of such regular service; Provided that relaxation in age can be considered on such doctors who have served on contractual basis under this State Government, equal to the period of service like this, maximum 3 years; Provided that for OBC candidates of West Bengal, 5 years for SCs and ST candidates and 5% for West Bengal candidates and 40% and above, for those with disabilities, they can be exempted till 45 years of age. .
